The role
  
We have a great opportunity an SEM specialist at Snr Search Manager / Associate Director level to work on (and with) some of FCB’s high profile clients. Day-to-day you’ll be working with the tight knit Search and Media teams, taking the lead developing your clients’ SEM strategies. This role includes implementing best practices and processes when it comes to campaign implementation, insightful reporting and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to your client and media teams.  You’ll be naturally passionate about your role, developing yourself and acting as specialist resource to our Media team – keeping them up-to-date on the latest search innovations and providing ad-hoc training.
  
You’ll need to have:
  • At least 3 years of paid search advertising experience and a comprehensive knowledge of search
  • You’ll be comfortable presenting to, and building strong relationships with clients and keeping them closely informed of market innovations and adjustments to their search strategy.
  • Strong reporting and analysis skills; up-to-date with trends and innovations – a natural passion for the industry
  • Detail oriented with a focus on the details and ability to find those buried nuggets
  • Solid understanding of the importance of research and data driven insights to build marketing plans
  • Passion to coach and nurture our Account Executive and Account Manager to action and optimise new campaign set up – tagging/tracking, keyword research and selection, writing ad copy, creating account structures and configuring settings, budget pacing and reporting.
  • Proficient in the tools of the trade i.e. Google Adwords, SA360, Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Excel and Pegasus, additionally you’ll be Google Certified
  • You’ll have excellent time management skills and the ability to manage a diverse portfolio of clients and stakeholders
  • A positive, friendly, can do attitude – able to cope well with pressure, equally able to have a laugh and contribute to the culture of the team and the wider agency
  • Importantly, you’ll be able to work well both independently and wthin a team environment

We’re a bit stretched!  We’re on the hunt for a superstar Senior Account Manager to pitch in and help out one of our best in class Account Management teams.
This roles offers an opportunity to showcase your Senior Account Management & Client servicing skills working on an awesome household name NZ brand.  Working closely and directly with both the Client and other FCB’ers to ensure campaigns roll out on time, you’ll be providing some much needed support to the team helping to get the day to day done.

You’ll be tracking and managing workflow, briefing, proofing, troubleshooting, monitoring finances, providing much needed support to your team, and most importantly – ensuring that we meet the client brief. Please note this SAM role is within our Account Management team (not in our Media Department).

You’ll need to be

  • Proactive, confident, and able to build relationships easily with both client and key stakeholders
  • You’ll have strong organisational skills
  • Be a team player 
  • Interested, passionate and up to date on industry trends and innovations
  • Goes without saying you’ll be process and detail orientated, highly accurate and able to comfortably juggle a range of tasks and projects
  • You’ll have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Account Management, preferably in a large full service Agency
  • Outstanding client management and project management skills
