We gamified Air New Zealand's Great Mates campaign to create engagement and conversion, on a scale not seen before.
We designed and built 6 mobile web games inspired by Air New Zealand’s Great Mates – New Zealand’s brightest stars at the Olympics. The game engagement was massive, tallying up a million game plays and over 200,000 entries — the most Air New Zealand has achieved with any competition site, ever.
There was a strong connection to sales and social metrics, delivering a great return on investment. The campaign quickly picked up a swag of metal at the NZDM Awards, including the most coveted award of the night, the Grand Prix.
